BEFORE RICHES
Before launching Lemon Curve, Agathe Molinar pursued higher education at ESCP Business School, where she honed her skills in management and entrepreneurship. Following her graduation, she embarked on a series of professional experiences that enriched her understanding of business operations. She worked as a Business Consultant and Bookkeeper at Mark's Bookkeeping Services in New York, gaining valuable insights into financial management. Additionally, she served as a Business Development Executive at Pierre Fabre Group and as a Financial Controller at Les Néréides & N2, further diversifying her expertise in business development and financial oversight. In 2009, driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, Molinar founded Easylife Pack, a company offering turnkey moving services in Paris. Although this venture was short-lived, it provided her with critical insights into the challenges of starting and managing a business, setting the stage for her future endeavors in the e-commerce sector.
HOW SHE MADE 1st MILLION
In 2011, at the age of 25, Agathe Molinar identified a gap in the online lingerie market and founded Lemon Curve, aiming to create the "Sarenza of lingerie." She started by personally reaching out to brands, successfully partnering with 25 by the site's launch. By 2013, Lemon Curve offered products from 60 brands and was experiencing 100% monthly growth. Under her leadership, the company focused on providing a wide selection and exceptional customer service, propelling it to become France's number one online lingerie retailer. By 2014, Lemon Curve's revenue approached €3 million, nearly doubling from the previous year. Molinar's strategic vision and dedication to quality service were instrumental in her financial success and the company's prominence in the e-commerce industry.
Lemon Curve was acquired by ShopInvest, a general e-commerce group, on October 19, 2016.
