X González (formerly known as Emma González)​ is an American activist and advocate for gun control. They survived the February 2018 Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, and subsequently co-founded the gun-control advocacy group Never Again MSD. González gained national recognition for their powerful speeches and unwavering commitment to ending gun violence in the United States. ​

González attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where they were known for their involvement in the school's gay-straight alliance and interest in creative pursuits. On February 14, 2018, during their senior year, González survived the tragic mass shooting at their high school, an event that profoundly impacted their life and future endeavors.
