Jessica Jackley is an American entrepreneur, investor, and educator renowned for her contributions to social entrepreneurship and financial inclusion. She co-founded Kiva, the world's first peer-to-peer microlending platform, in 2005, which has since facilitated over $2 billion in loans across 206 countries. Beyond Kiva, Jessica co-founded ProFounder, a pioneering crowdfunding platform for U.S. entrepreneurs, and Alltruists, a startup focused on creating unique volunteer experiences. She is also the Founder and General Partner at Untapped Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in unexpected entrepreneurs. Currently, Jessica serves as a Professor of the Practice in Entrepreneurship at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and is the Director of the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab.

Jessica's early career involved work with various non-profit organizations in East Africa, where she witnessed firsthand the challenges entrepreneurs faced due to lack of access to capital. These experiences inspired her to co-found Kiva in 2005, aiming to bridge the gap between lenders and entrepreneurs through microloans.

After co-founding Kiva, Jessica continued her entrepreneurial journey by establishing ProFounder, a platform that provided tools for small business entrepreneurs in the U.S. to access start-up capital through crowdfunding. She has also served as a visiting scholar at Stanford University’s Center for Philanthropy and Civil Society and taught global entrepreneurship at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. Jessica is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and has been recognized as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
