ABOUT
Olivia Abrams is the CEO and Co-Founder of TiCK MiTT, a company dedicated to reducing tick-borne diseases through innovative, non-toxic tick removal solutions for both humans and pets. Diagnosed with Lyme disease at the age of eight, Olivia's personal health journey has fueled her commitment to enhancing tick prevention and education. Her leadership has earned her a place on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list in the Social Impact category.
BEFORE RICHES
Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Olivia was immersed in discussions about branding and business development from an early age. Her diagnosis with Lyme disease at eight years old exposed her to the challenges associated with tick-borne illnesses. While at Lehigh University, Olivia participated in various organizations, including serving as news editor for The Brown and White. During her senior year, she developed a business proposal for TiCK MiTT, laying the groundwork for her future venture. After graduating, Olivia interned at Morgan Stanley and later accepted a full-time position. However, her passion for addressing tick-borne diseases led her to leave the corporate world and focus on TiCK MiTT.
HOW SHE MADE 1st MILLION
In collaboration with her father, Olivia co-founded TiCK MiTT, inspired by their shared experiences of outdoor activities and the prevalence of ticks. They worked with a tick scientist to develop a reusable, chemical-free mitt designed to safely remove ticks before they embed into the skin, thereby reducing the risk of disease transmission. Since its launch in March 2023, TiCK MiTT has gained national attention, being featured on platforms like "Good Morning America" and "The View." Under Olivia's leadership, the company continues to focus on educating the public about tick prevention and expanding its product reach.
